Today I had the pleasure to fish with Kent and Johnny. Kent came all the way from Alaska and Johnny is from the great fly fishing state of Montana. These guys had been chasing fish the last few days and decided to join me for some sightfishing with the fly rod. Wow..... did we have big fun. These guys are old college buddies from Montana and they love to catch fish on the fly. And they did just that today. Kent started out with this trout and then he hit this nice redfish at our third stop of the day. We watched this fish track the fly a good 20 feet before he ate. Awesome fun!!



I must say that Johnny gets most of the glory today. He made a perfect presentation to this GATOR sea trout just sitting on the edge of a white sandy spot. Two strips and this big dog was all over the fly!! Now that was something to see!!!



We had a lot more shots at tailing redfish and big trout. It was Kent that finished off the day with another good redfish that was working his way across some super skinny water. Nice work boys and I look forward to doing it again on your next trip.
