How could you not think it was going to be a great day with this beautiful sunrise on Mosquito Lagoon. Yesterday was one of those days that everything that could go right did and Kent was on his game!!!



I have heard a lot of fishing stories over the years, and told a few myself, but this one is true. The first cast of the day resulted in this beautiful redfish glowing in the morning sunrise. What a start to the day and it only got better.






It was an amazing day with an excellent fly angler that has this sightfishing game dialed in. Kent had some great shots a huge Sea Trout as well, but no takers. They are a real challenge in the cystal clear water. To top the day off, we were poling off the flat in the last minutes of the trip and we see a nice fish start pushing a good size wake. Kent made the perfect cast, two strips and he hammered my new crab pattern I just tie up!! Guess it works.
