Yesterday I fished with Jamie from the DC area and did we see tailing fish!! All day long we were chasing tailers. Every time I see one of those beautiful tails glistening in the sun, it still feels like the first time I saw one. The heart starts to race and the adrenaline start to flow!!! Jamie made some great presentations and got six fish to eat, but no fish to hand. He had one on for a good bit and it spit the hook. The wind picked up as the day went on which made it a little tougher with accuracy and getting that first cast in the zone. Jamie did a great job for his first trip to Mosquito Lagoon and really improved his skills as the day went on. Thanks for fishing with me Jamie and look forward to fishing with you again on your next trip to Orlando.




I will be on the water early this week and then I will be headed North to the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo to do a couple of presentations. Hopefully the weather will warm up a bit before I get there. Wishful thinking, I know. Vicki and my daughter Madison will also be making the trip North, which will be very nice. Little Madison just loves fish, imagine that! She will get to see tons of them next weekend at the show. Great fun for Daddy and Madison!!!
