Well, we had another cold front roll through on Sunday late and we are still feeling the effects. Cool morning today with temps in the low 40's, so we started a bit later to catch the heat of the day during our trip. Today I fished with Jim and his son Kane from Orlando. With the colder water temps the fish were schooled up tight and these guys got right after them. Kane scored first with this nice fish and hit another great fish pictured below.

With winds right out of the North at 15knots+ and the sun in the South, we were casting into the winds most of the day. Tough casting, but these guys were getting it done. We had several hook ups at our first spot as the school we were fishing to was HUGE!!!!

After a couple of thumps, Jim got hooked up on this nice Mosquito Lagoon redfish. Jim also made a perfect cast on a good sized tailing redfish and it whipped around and hammered his jerk bait in 8 inches of water. Great fun to see that fish eat!! My photo of this fish was blurred by a water spot, so I will have to wait for Jim's shot to post the photo of that fish. (Got the photo - below)

What a great day of fishing!!! Thanks guys and I look forward to fishing with you both again. Off to the North tomorrow for a fly fishing show and will be back on the water next Tuesday.
Take a look at those calendars and get your trip booked today!
