We had perfect weather on the first day of fishing for the FlyMaster's group trip. Slick calm conditions and high sun blessed us most of the day. We had lot's of shots at Redfish and Sea Trout all day long. Steve and Dave fished with me today and these guys had a blast chasing fish with the fly rod. Big schools of fish in the deeper depressions on the flats offered us lot's of action. However, they were a bit spooky with the calm water. These guys landed several Sea Trout on fly today, but no Redfish. Did have a few eat the fly, but no solid hookups!



Dave did land a couple of Redfish on light tackle including this nice fish! So many great moments today and they learned a ton about these Redfish on the Lagoon. They will be back on the water tomorrow for some more sightfishing!
