Tough Casting!

Today, Joe from Windermere joined me again on Mosquito Lagoon. We had good sun today, but the winds were a challenge for the accuracy game. Joe had so many great shots at Redfish, Sea Trout, and Black Drum today. The fish were mostly out on the open, windy flats tailing away. Joe did a great job considering the wind factor and had several fish follow the fly, but the only one that ate was this nice Sea Trout. Joe's first on fly!!! You will see Joe back again next month for a bit of angler revenge.

Back at it tomorrow and it looks like the winds will lay down a bit. Sunny skies are in the forecast which should be perfect for my fly anglers. Still have a few dates open in February, so get your trip booked.

See you on the water,

Capt. Todd.
