Good April Fishing!

It has been a couple weeks since my last report and April has been perfect for sightfishing. Lots of calm mornings and high sun during the day. We have had tons of shots at tailing fish throughout the day and so many great moments with the fly rod. The fish have been really good a spitting the hook lately. A tight line is so important!!!!!!

Crab and shrimp patterns have been producing some explosive takes on the tailers. As you know presentation is everything with these fish in skinny water!

Starting to see a lot more baitfish in the Lagoon and the shoreline action is really picking up again. Working those white sandy shorelines can be a blast! When you can see a fish coming down that shoreline the adrenaline just pumps. Get that fly out in front of the fish, create that fleeing situation and it will produce a take most of the time.

Still have a few April and May dates open, so get your trip booked!!!!

Look forward to seeing you on the water.
